Hire a Whaea Child Minding Services
Our team of Whaea are available to provide care and education for your tamariki while enhancing their cultural identity as Māori , in the comfort of their own whare! Our Whaea are also available for individual support work and child minding at events such as weddings and birthdays !
Family Day Care
Kura Kāinga Care has been approved as a provider of Family Day Care in Queensland. We are looking for both those who are interested in starting a centre in their own home and those whanau who would be interested in this model of care.
Cultural Educational Resources
We believe that learning happens first within the whare - home within the whanau connections. Our resources are made to motivate whanau to play and have fun teaching and learning te reo in the home. They are also made as teaching tools for our Whaea to take on babysitting jobs to teach our tamariki.
Our resources are envisioned and created with aroha and intention to immerse your tamariki in Te Ao Māori. With a natural wooden ahua our resources are designed to inspire and empower our children to learn and develop sense of cultural identity and connection to who they are and where they come from.
Our Vision

To empower and educate tamariki, rangatahi and whanau by providing knowledge and opportunities to connect to culture and find freedom in a a sense of belonging and understanding of who they are, where they come from and how to find an improved sense of hauora - holistic health and wellbeing.
